Week of October 27th

For this week please read the chapter "The Making of a Man." Also, if you haven't emailed your service ideas please do so. I will collect your ideas and post them to this website. We will select one or two of your ideas for our service project.

Week of October 20th

Libee Migbar means developing a heart.

Tewolde was an amazing young man because he helped others without wanting recognition. He gave even when he had very little himself. For this week I want you to read the next chapter entitled "Coffee Tales." Quiz next week.

Also, I want each of you to come up with 6 ideas for our upcoming service project. I would like you to come up with 2 ideas per topic. The topics that your workday team have selected are listed below. Please email them to me. Thanks. Your grades should be updated if you want to check them out. I continue to hear many positive things from your work supervisors. You truly are a wonderful group of young people. Have a great week.

Week of October 13th

But if you, our children, work hard at school and finish the University, maybe someday you can help yourselves and help your family, too."

Please don't take for granted the opportunities that you have here at St. Peter Claver. You can have fun, but make sure you work hard. Get your school work done and do your very best at your jobs. The education you receive over the next few years will in many ways determine your future. We are here to support you, but you have to do the work.
